Azólimnos is located 5km southeast of Syros and someone can reach there with the Shuttle Bus in 15’, with a private car or with your rental car. It is a growing tourist settlement with relatively unregulated construction and a small sandy beach with trees and umbrellas for shade. The village has many rooms, a couple of hotels, mini market and along the beach there are taverns and restaurants. In the village you will not find a car rental office (rent a car).
Here you will see the church of the Ascension, where every year takes place the feast of the Holy Trinity. At a short distance to the south are also Fokiotrypa, with a nice small beach with turquoise waters under the rocks and the tiny island of Aspronisi opposite.
The beach town of Azolimnos continuously develops in tourism. It is an organized beach. It can accommodate visitors and offer them the local wine and traditional snacks in the taverns.
It is at a 15’ walk (path) from the beach of Azolimnos. It is a small, picturesque and secluded beach with pebbles and turquoise waters. On the rocks it is believed that seals nest.
