Syros island belongs to the group of the Cyclades cluster and Hermoupolis (capital of the island), is the seat of the South Aegean Region and the seat of the Cyclades archipelagos.
The island is 79 nautical miles from the port of Piraeus, 58 nautical miles from the port of Rafina and 51 nautical miles away from the port of Lavrio.
